Amanda Fennell Andrews
Train For Change

Amanda served as the Chief Operating Officer at Students Helping Honduras from 2013-2017. She is the Co-Founder and former Co-President of the Towson University chapter of SHH, and former Student Director. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science in Nonprofit Management from Towson University and certification as a Nonprofit Professional from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. She is a W.K Kellog Foundation Next Gen Scholar and small business owner. She currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland.

Train For Change, a program run within Students Helping Honduras, a 501c3 certified non-profit organization, is a two year teacher professional development program. Train For Change supports Honduran teachers in developing leadership skills, creating pedagogical support networks, and learning new skills and strategies to improve educational outcomes for Honduran children in rural and under resourced areas. Over the first four years of the program, Train For Change has impacted 24 schools, 160 teachers, and over 4,000 students.
