Founded in the 1940’s by the Rotary Club of the Moriches as a summer camp for victims of polio, Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck has expanded to provide a true summer sleep-away camp experience for all physically and mentally-challenged children, up to 21 years of age. The Commack-Kings Park Rotary Club provides annual support to the Camp, by way of financial donations, as well as participating in activities like sponsoring a lunch or dinner for the campers. Our club often provides scholarship funding for families in need who wish to send their children to enjoy a week-long camp experience, but who cannot afford even the modest tuition that the camp must charge. The Camp is located on a beautiful lakeside setting in Moriches, and is a  volunteer-managed entity, still run by the members of the Moriches Rotary Club along with representatives from other Rotary clubs across Long Island. Members of the Commack-Kings Park Rotary club have served on the Board at different times, and have always been generous supporters of the Camp and its activities.
